Local residential moving services 

E-Z Moving provides residential moving services within Salt Lake County and beyond. We realize that moving households is a stressful event; therefore we made our goal to make every move worry-free, fast and easy. E-Z Moving provides service 7 days a week. We are also available for last minute moves.

We are proud to serve the Wasatch Front area and Salt Lake County, we have an authority to operate anywhere in the United States. We are also insured and licensed by the state of Utah to move anywhere within Utah.

Since every household is different, we would like to discuss the move in advance and give you a free estimate.

We also would like you to know what the total charge is based upon. Our rate is based upon an hourly rate determined by the number of movers required for the job. Unlike other moving companies, we do not charge for travel time from our office to your location and time to return from your location to our office in Salt Lake County. The time starts at your location and ends at your location upon the completing the move. We don't charge additional fees for extra large items, no mileage charge.

Materials such as boxes or tape are charged separately based upon your usage. We want to deliver quality moving services at the lowest possible rates.

Please consider that the moving time may vary depending on the number of stairs going up or down, the distance from truck to location and the nature of things moved.

    Local moves are usually charged by the hourly rates, based on the number of professional movers and trucks. There may be other factors which can affect the cost. The hourly rate includes the following services: disassembling and wrapping your furniture and appliances at your original address, transporting the goods to the destination, unloading and reassembling furniture at the new location. The moving rate includes basic insurance coverage of 60 cents per pound per article.

    We are realistic when it comes to estimate your move time. The moving time may vary depending on many factors: size of your shipment, the distance from truck to location, number of stairs going up and down, availability of an elevator, special care items.

    For local studio, one and two bedroom apartment/house moves, we recommend 2 men and one truck.
    For local three and four bedroom apartment/house moves, we recommend 3-4 men and one truck.
    For larger houses, you will probably need 4-5 men and 1 or 2 trucks.
    The number of movers can also be affected by the nature of things that needs to be moved.

    Every move is different and, as a result, professional touch is needed to make your move a success. The best way to find out the number of movers and trucks for your move is to consult with E-Z Moving representative.

    For out-of-state moves, please contact us for in-house cost estimate.

    We will not transport the following items: open liquids, jewelry, cash, other high value items ,ammunition, propane tanks, gasoline, any flammable items. Those items must be moved by owner.

    We accept several payment methods upon completion of the move: cash, checks, Visa and MasterCard.
    Moving supplies
    From wardrobe boxes to small boxes and from bubble wrap to packing paper, we offer all of the moving boxes and moving supplies you need to pack for your move. We will deliver all the necessary supplies to your door in advance. The delivery is free and you pay only for the supplies used.

    I was very pleased with the service I had from your company during a recent move and wanted to let others know about how professional your movers are. The movers showed up exactly on time and were courteous from the start. They were surprised at how much we needed to move and I knew right away it would take longer than originally anticipated. These guys worked tirelessly for 11 hours to move our home 3 miles east. It took 2 truckloads. They took minimal breaks, a shorter lunch than I had expected, and were very understanding about the air conditioner in our new home not working properly.
